Today’s a very sad hamster day…. One of the twin hamsters that’s attached to Jason’s cellphone, fell off and is lost somewhere. She’s not in the apartment and not at Jason’s workplace so that means that he dropped her somewhere outside. It’s really sad because now her twin is all alone. It may seem silly to everyone but it’s a really sad ordeal for me and Jason because she was one of our hamster kids. I tear up just thinking about how lonely and sad she must be out there by herself. I really wish she is hiding somewhere in the apartment…….I miss her already….Read More →

Maybe it’s just me, but I think fall is approaching soon. Up until this past Monday, the weather has been really hot and rather humid and unpleasant. Then on Tuesday morning, I left for work in my usual summer clothes only to encounter a slightly chilly wind. It was actually pleasant to be outdoors 🙂 In fact, it was so pleasant that when I met up with Jason for dinner, I decided to sit outside to wait for him instead of hiding in the air conditioned lobby. Ahhh, I hope that this is really the beginning of fall and not some sick joke summer isRead More →

So, since we’ve decided to have this baby in a foreign country far away from the rest of our family, it’s probably best to try to keep people who read my blog updated on how things are going. This is a week late but I finally got the latest sonogram scanned and uploaded. The baby has doubled in size during the time we were home 🙂 You can almost make out the head and the body now too. (It’s the blob in between the two “+”) The fibroid that they found in my uterus has also remained the same and doesn’t look like it multipliedRead More →

Well, our week of being home in California has ended and we have returned to Tokyo. I actually wished we were home longer but we have work to return to…. I guess the baby feels the need to protest too since I began to experience some pretty bad morning sickness again the Friday before our flight back. Oddly enough, I was perfectly fine the week before and the week we were home. I really think the baby is protesting…maybe it’s the Tokyo summer he/she hates….which I totally understand. Anyway, I have to go lie down again. I’m feeling hungry but the thought, sight and smellRead More →

Ever since moving to Japan, everyday has been an adventure for Jason and me. Now we’re about to embark on one that we’re not too sure if we can handle…..but we’ll make the best out of it! Yea, this was taken a few weeks ago. The current sonogram has more to see (sort of) but I haven’t scanned it in yet since it was taken the morning right before our flight back home.Read More →

Lately I’ve been really busy with the 6-week intensive photography workshop that I signed up for at school. Practically every day we have class or I should say “class” since the workshop consists of mostly fieldtrips and guest lectures. Then we have the weekly critiques which have been kinda crazy since it’s hard to find time between all the class activities and normal life to go out and take photos. Of course I’m luckier than my classmates who are mostly all from the States and have no time for being a tourist with all this class stuff going on. Anyway, that’s my quick rant forRead More →
