I’ve discovered a new meme to play around with from 2 of my favorite blogs.Β It’s called Alphabe-Thursday, held over at …off on my tangent… by Jenny Matlock. As if my Thursdays aren’t full enough, I decided that I want to partake on the fun over on that blog too. This week, we are working on all things Rainbow Red. So here’s my red for the week…Can you guess what it is? (hint:Β It’s a home decor…well at least in my home) Back side Just follow the little red buttons π Ok, this is an incredibly big hint π Ta Da! It’s E’s growth chart!Read More →

I know that Wordless Wednesday should be, well…wordless but I’m a talker and I just can’t stop gabbing. Story of this adventure coming up later this week….for now, you’ll just have to settle for some naked feet in water π Oh, by the way, I’m guest posting for Bec over at I heart blog. Β The post is about traditional weddings and stuff.Β Β You’ll get to see me in my traditional Chinese wedding dress, so you won’t be disappointed πΒ She’s got a lot of other great guests posting this week too so check them out!Read More →
Meet Big Yellow. (Ok, I just made up that name….but it’s better than calling her “Duck”) She’s E’s bathtub. She became E’s primary bathtub when E outgrew the one that fits in the sink. If you squeeze her duckbill, she’ll quack. E doesn’t like the quacking.Β It confuses her. E loves to take her baths in Big Yellow. I think it’s because she can stand up in Big Yellow and won’t slip and fall. For more yellow photos, go check out I Should Be Folding Laundry.Read More →
This year, spring has been a little crazy. Normally, it’d be nice and warm and flowers would bloom and the weather is generally pleasant. Not this year. This year, spring decided it wanted to have mood swings. It was warm enough that we had cherry blossoms…but then as soon as they bloomed, the weather got all gloomy. It even snowed in some parts of Japan. It’s as if winter and spring wanted to co-exist. Still we had cherry blossoms. Then it got rainy and cold again. It felt like winter had won. But then the sun came back for us and it felt like summerRead More →
The flight between Tokyo and Los Angeles is never fun. It’s long, it’s tiring and it really screws up your sense of time. It’s even harder when you have to do it with an active toddler who is curious about everything she sees. Our flight back to Tokyo felt like a lifetime. It was only 11 1/2 hours but it really felt like it was never going to end. E was all over the place. She wanted to touch everything, see everything, wave at everyone and see what all our neighbors were up to. She wanted to sing her little songs and babble baby talk.Read More →
