It’s that time of the year again when everyone makes resolutions and choose their one little word for the year. Just like the past two years, I’m also going with the one word versus making resolutions. It just feels easier that way since a single word can be interpreted anyway we want and is therefore a bit more flexible to work with. My previous words were “go” for 2011 and “change” for 2012. This year, it took me a little longer to discover what my word will be, mostly because unlike previous years, I really don’t know how the year will turn out with aRead More →

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope that many of you had a good Christmas and new year with your families. Well, it’s officially the end of the holiday season. Jason went back to work today after a week long break. Unfortunately, today is also his birthday, which in my opinion really sucks. Plus he’s working one day and then it’s the weekend again. I, on the other hand, am on maternity leave. Plus, E is still on winter break until next Wednesday so I need to be home to take care of her. All I can say is that as much as I love spendingRead More →

Happy Halloween, everyone! I wish you all a safe Halloween especially if you are going to be trick or treating around the neighborhood.  Halloween seems a bit more scary (and in some places more dangerous) these days compared to when we were kids so I wish every a safe trick or treating.  And for those of you who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy, my thoughts are with you and your families.  I hope that everyone is doing well especially since I’ve seen photos of the damages and it’s pretty scary going through something like that. I hope you stay safe and dry this Halloween.Read More →

It’s amazing how fast time passes you by when you’re busy with stuff. I’ve been so preoccupied with this whole PTA thing and working that I managed to not notice I’ve passed that halfway point of my current pregnancy. Plus, I’ve been a bit worn out from doing so much that I just don’t have the energy to blog at the end of the day. So here’s a bit of update on how next child is doing… I know I haven’t talked much about next child. I think a part of me is paranoid about sharing too much and then having to write another griefRead More →

It amuses me how E reuses things around the house. At least this is much cheaper than spending money on toys that end up sitting in a corner somewhere collecting dust. (yes, that is Tupperware on her head).Read More →

Guess what, my friends? I am back! Well, almost. I’m like the kid who dreads it when summer vacation ends and the school year begins. I’ve enjoyed being on my summer break so much that I almost didn’t feel like coming back for another few months. But there are lots of things to catch up on and lots of exciting stories to tell and definitely lots more on the way. So while I am trying to get my lazy butt back into blogging mode, here’s a recap of my summer. Graduation – Yes, it has finally happened. I have finished my second degree after soRead More →

I always have something I want to blog about recently but I could never get myself to sit down and actually do it. These days, I’ve been spending less and less time with my google reader as well as the internet social circles. Maybe it’s because I’m still trying to adjust to the changes going on recently as well as trying to figure out what I want to do now that I’m no longer going to school. So I’m taking a break. Not that it’s going to make such a big impact since I post less than one post a week recently. I’m thinking aboutRead More →

I’m beginning to feel that this is not a good blogging year for me since every time I get ready to get back into the rhythm of things, I get sidetracked by something and then go missing for a period of time. That said, it’s hard to believe that it’s already been a month since I had my miscarriage. How am I doing now? I’m doing well. I think at this point in time, I’ve accepted the situation and have started to move on forward. I’m still not sure if I’m ready to try again so soon since I still have this fear of anotherRead More →
