Sorry for the lack of presence on the Internet lately. I’ve been spending time with my sister and her family and it’s been an interesting week especially since I’m going solo with E and she’s been testing her boundaries with me a lot. One thing I’ve come to enjoy seeing a lot this week is the interaction between E and her cousins. I thinks it’s great that she has cousins so close to her age to play with. Zach is only 3 months younger and Zoey is about 2 years younger. The small age gap allows them to play together a bit easier. I shouldRead More →

Yay! I made it to Alphabe-Thursday! Now that I have Internet access again and things have somewhat settled since our arrival, I can begin catching up with things though it will be a long while before I can get back to normal since I’m working solely off my iPad. For this round of Alphabe-Thursday, I’ll be exploring various places in this urban jungle I call home (aka. Tokyo) This week we are going to visit electric town Akihabara. I’m mostly doing pictures this week since I have E climbing all over me right now. Akihabara is located on the east side of Tokyo, 2 stationsRead More →

Sorry for the sudden disappearance and silence. After November, I really needed a break so I took a short one…except, I also realized I had a lot to do before our flight so I’ve been scrambling around trying to get as much done as possible these past few days. Unfortunately, I didn’t get too much done but oh well. E and I will be leaving for California tonight so hopefully once we have landed and have settled down a little, I’ll do some catching up as well as a little more posting. I’m not bringing a laptop with me this trip so I’m hoping myRead More →

For this round of Alphabe-Thursday, I’ll be exploring various places in this urban jungle I call home (aka. Tokyo) This week, we’re taking a little day trip out to Daiba (also called Odaiba), a man-made island located inside Tokyo Bay. It’s going to be a longer trip than usual since I had a lot of places to cover, especially since I’ll be following the monorail stops. Oh, Daiba, you weird little island… This is Odaiba. The main access to this area is through the monorail which was built just to connect this place to the main land. You can also travel by bus, car orRead More →

Do you know that feeling when you cross the finish line after a long marathon? No? Me either since I’ve never ran enough to be able to survive a marathon. Still, I feel like I just completed one in the blogging world. Today is November 30th and also the last day of NaBloPoMo! *cue happy dancing* It’s been one long month of blogging and though for the most part it wasn’t as painful as I had imagined, there were days when I had wanted to just quit. Except I didn’t and now I can pat myself on the back for a job well done 🙂Read More →

Ever get an idea that just won’t go away even when you know you don’t have time to pursue it? I get them all the time, which is why I start so many projects but have a hard time finishing them because I’m always getting distracted with wanting to try something new. Darn ideas. Well, despite my long to-do list and my carefully planned out schedule for this week, I ended up going off on a tangent again. Instead of spending the day doing photo walks of several places, I stayed home to work on an idea that’s been nagging me this past week andRead More →

I tend to get really gratitude happy during this time of year. It’s mostly because of all the holidays and the idea of spending the last few weeks of the year with family and the people who mean most to you…it puts one in an appreciative mood. There’s a lot of big and little things I love about my life. The big things are are obviously Jason, E, my family and friends. But there are also a lot of little details and moments in my everyday life that makes me happy and grateful and I want to record all these little things I was inspiredRead More →
