I haven’t done a You Capture in a long time…. so I will do it this week instead 🙂 Yes, I still give E a bottle….I should break her off that habit but she’s stubborn. Gotta love baby hands.  They are just so teeny tiny 🙂Read More →

I feel like there has been a lack of E’s presence on the blog lately. Let’s fix that a little…. Ah…there we go…. She’s been catching on to the fact that I take photos of her everyday and so now whenever she sees the camera, she either runs away or deliberately turns away or she would get really close up.   My child is a smart one I say….maybe a little too smart sometimes. E really enjoys pulling things out of boxes.  Doesn’t matter whether it’s a big box or a little box, if there’s something in it, she will take it out. If she seesRead More →

I have Indian art history on the brain.  (And I mean India Indian, not Native American Indian) I have an art history exam tomorrow on all the Indian art history I’ve learned in the past week and a half.  I can’t believe I spent most of my day reviewing and studying Buddhist and Hindu art.  I feel like my brain will explode… Since I am unable to think of anything else other than art history right now, I will cheat and put up a cute picture of E in her new toy, the medium sized Ikea bucket. Isn’t she so adorable?  I can’t believe howRead More →

With all the crazy things going on with us, we decided we needed a break last Sunday. So what do we choose to do? We go out to Baby Disco. Ohh, yea, baby! There really is an event called Baby Loves Disco. I kid you not. In fact, it’s a worldwide thing. You can check it out at babylovesdisco.com We actually went there with the couple of families that we knew from our birthing class. We get together every so often and watch our kids grow up together. It’s pretty fun for both E and I. Anyway, Baby Loves Disco was quite an interesting experience.Read More →

This is E’s new toy from the States. By now, she’s already lost most of the pieces.  In fact, she finds more amusement with the crate than the actual toys inside. Here’s the original use of the crate… Here’s how she uses it… She sits in it. Stand in it. And stand on it. There’s only one problem.  She has trouble figuring out how to get off it. Silly E.Read More →

E did something new and strange today.  What possessed her to try it is beyond me. I think it’s all part of her discovering the joys of taking things out and putting them back into containers. The container She was successful in getting both feet in but because the toy has a curved bottom, I had to hold it up with my feet so she wouldn’t fall over. The things this crazy child does for fun….Read More →

Busy working on putting together all the stuff from last week’s “Week in the Life” project into an album.  I’ll probably post the finished album once I finish…hopefully before we leave for Hong Kong this weekend (Yes!  We’re going to Hong Kong!) For now, here’s a cute video of E smacking her lips 🙂 Enjoy!Read More →

The flight between Tokyo and Los Angeles is never fun. It’s long, it’s tiring and it really screws up your sense of time. It’s even harder when you have to do it with an active toddler who is curious about everything she sees. Our flight back to Tokyo felt like a lifetime. It was only 11 1/2 hours but it really felt like it was never going to end. E was all over the place. She wanted to touch everything, see everything, wave at everyone and see what all our neighbors were up to. She wanted to sing her little songs and babble baby talk.Read More →
