I love documenting my family but sometimes, I feel like I’m missing myself when I document our lives. So in an effort to include a bit of my own story, I’m going to start writing down things in my life that is happening right now. I’m probably going to make it a monthly thing though since not many exciting things actually happen to me. Currently… enjoying my one-on-one time with K while she’s still a baby. watching “Sherlock” (series 3) on the AppleTV. I just love this series so much. reading blogs I haven’t read in a long while. Given how it’s New Year’s Eve today in Tokyo, I feel like I should put up one last post for the year. So lets take a look back at 2012 and all the events that happened. This year has been a fairly quiet year here on Hamster Central since real life situations made it difficult for me to keep up with the blogging world. Check.  And I aced all my classes too 🙂 3. Hang out with Jason more (with and without E).  Check.  We only spent two E-free days but that was more than we’ve had in aRead More →

Wow, I reached 200 posts on hamster-central with this post! Technically, I’m at 471 posts overall if you count all the posts I’ve made in my previous blog too.  Still, that’s far more than I ever thought I’d write when I first decided to jump onto the bloggy bandwagon back in 2003 🙂 So to commemorate this day, I will share with you some Q&A’s. I was recently tagged by Paige over at Life is a Phoenix.  I love it when people ask me questions because it makes me think which in turn makes me want to write 🙂 So here goes! *WARNING:  Lots ofRead More →

Cereal. We all love cereal at one point in our lives, right?  Well at least I hope that everyone had once love cereal.  If you still do, that’s awesome 🙂 I love cereal.  I use to eat it all the time for breakfast because it’s quick and easy and depending on the type, it’s also a bit healthy. I was contemplating about whether or not I wanted to buy cereal when I was at the market the other day.  I ended up not buying any because the selection offered in my area isn’t that great. Typically, you can find a bit of “healthy” cereal likeRead More →
